Two future Comets play in BCAM All-Star game
Two future Olivet College men’s basketball players, Reece Koepke (Bellaire) and T.J. Vondette (Hemlock), competed in the 2012 BCAM All-Star Games Saturday, Aug. 11 at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
OLIVET, Mich. – Two future Olivet College men's basketball players, Reece Koepke (Bellaire) and T.J. Vondette (Hemlock), competed in the 2012 Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan (BCAM) All-Star Games Saturday, Aug. 11 at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Koepke, a 1,000-point scorer at Bellaire High School, participated in the Class C-D game. Vondette, who was selected to the Saginaw News Dream Team, played in the A-B game. They were selected to the BCAM All-Star game by having outstanding senior seasons and voted onto the team by high school coaches across the state.
"We are proud to have both Reece and T.J. selected to play in the BCAM All-Star game," said Olivet Head Men's Basketball Coach Chris Coles. "It is a tremendous honor and we are thrilled to be adding both of these wonderful student-athletes to our family at Olivet College. They will represent their families and communities extremely well here at Olivet."
