  • Men’s basketball team hosts 2018 MIAA Tournament
    February 23, 2018
    The Olivet College men’s basketball team will host the 2018 MIAA Tournament Friday and Saturday, Feb. 23-24, at the Cutler Event Center in Olivet. The first semifinal on Friday night features No. 2 seed Hope playing No. 3 seed Adrian at 5 p.m. The top-seed Comets face No. 4 seed Trine (Ind.) in the other semifinal at 7:45 p.m. The winners will play in the championship game Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
  • Olivet College’s Adams named MIAA MVP for men’s basketball

    Olivet College senior Jalen Adams has been named the 2018 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Men’s Basketball Most Valuable Player. In addition, junior Tracy Edmond joins him in earning first-team All-MIAA honors, and senior Eldridge Mason is a second-team All-MIAA selection.

    The Olivet College men’s basketball team concluded the regular season portion of its schedule with a 95-88 loss Calvin College this afternoon at the Van Noord Arena in Grand Rapids. Depsite the loss, the Comets share the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) title and will be the No. 1 seed and host the 2018 MIAA Tournament next week.

With the win, the Comets stay tied with Hope College for first-place in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) standings and also clinch a berth in the 2018 MIAA Tournament.
