Wilson named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week
Freshman forward Jared Wilson has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week for men’s soccer.

OLIVET, Mich. – Olivet College freshman forward Jared Wilson (Lansing/Everett) has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week for men's soccer.
Wilson scored two goals and assisted on the other two goals in Olivet's 4-0 shutout win at Anderson (Ind.) University Sept. 1.
The Comets (1-0) will play three non-conference games, including two at home, this week. Tomorrow, Olivet will travel to play Elmhurst (Ill.) College at 5 p.m. CT/6 p.m. EST. The Comets will play their home-opener Thursday against Spring Arbor University at 5 p.m., and then host Rochester College Saturday at noon.
