Olivet College’s Damico named MIAA Women’s Golfer of the Week
Olivet College junior Theresa Damico (White Lake/Lakeland) has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women’s Golfer of the Week.

OLIVET, Mich. – Olivet College junior Theresa Damico (White Lake/Lakeland) has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Golfer of the Week.
Damico shot a two-round score of 152 strokes to finish in fifth-place among 116 golfers at the Illinois Wesleyan University Fall Classic Sept. 15-16 at the Ironwood Golf Course. She carded rounds of 77 and 75, which allowed the Comets to finish in fifth-place (out of 22 schools).
Olivet now begins its MIAA schedule Thursday when it hosts a jamboree at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall. The Comets are the defending MIAA champions and have won four of the last six league titles.
