Women’s golf team sits in ninth-place at Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational
The Olivet College women’s golf team shot a 338 team score today at the first round of the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational at the Indian Mounds Golf Course. The Comets will begin their second of three rounds tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m.
JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The Olivet College women's golf team sits in ninth-place (of 21 schools) after the first round of the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational at the Indian Mounds Golf Course. The first Comet golfer will tee off for the second of three rounds tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m.
The Comets carded a 338 team score in today's round. Olivet was led by junior Theresa Damico (White Lake/Lakeland), who carded an 82. Junior Adrienne Plourde (Redford/Thurston) was next with an 84. Freshmen Brooke Kastamo (Howell/Hartland) and Casey Lamp (Kalamazoo/Hackett Catholic) both finished with an 86. Junior Ashley Stark (Grass Lake) had a 90. Playing as an individual scorer, freshman Kirstin Langer (Battle Creek/Pennfield) needed 92 strokes to complete her round.
