Women’s golfers continue to sit in tie for 12th at NCAA DIII Championships
The Olivet College women’s golf team enters the final round of play at the 2013 NCAA Division III National Championships tied for 12th-place in the team standings. The fourth round of the championships will be played on the Baytowne Golf Club and inside the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort in Destin, Fla.

The fourth round of the championships will be played on the Baytowne Golf Club and inside the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort in Destin, Fla.
The Comets shot a tournament-best 325 in today's round, which gives them a three-round total of 1,006 strokes to tie Middlebury (Vt.) College. The top nine teams are currently on the course.
In today's round, junior Ashley Stark tied her career-best with a six-over par 78. Her round included birdies on holes #5 and #12. Junior Adrienne Plourde carded an 81. Freshman Brooke Kastamo was next with an 82. Junior Theresa Damico finished with an 84. Freshman Casey Lamp completed her round in 92 strokes.
Plourde has a three-round total of 249 strokes. Damico is two strokes behind at 251. Kastamo is next at 258, followed by Lamp at 264 and Stark at 266.
Olivet will begin the fourth and final round tomorrow morning at 8:20 a.m., with Stark teeing off first, followed by Lamp, Kastamo, Damico and Plourde in 10-minute intervals. The NCAA is providing a live leaderboard at http://www.golfstatresults.com/public/index.cfm?tournament_id=4428.
