Women’s tennis team shutout by by Millsaps
The Olivet College women’s tennis team was shutout by Millsaps (Miss.) College, 9-0, today during its Spring Break trip to Hilton Head, S.C.

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Olivet College women's tennis team was shutout by Millsaps (Miss.) College, 9-0, today during its Spring Break trip to Hilton Head, S.C.
Millsaps swept the three doubles matches, winning two pro-sets by an 8-1 score and the third by an 8-2 score. Junior Caitlin LaValley (Battle Creek/Pennfield) won five total games, but fell 6-1, 6-4 at the No. 1 singles flight. Despite the loss, freshman Courtney Kidder (Davison) won two games in each set in the No. 6 singles flight. Freshman Megan Post (Marshall) dropped a 6-3, 6-1 decision at the No. 5 singles flight.
The Comets will go in search of their first win on this trip tomorrow when they play Ohio Wesleyan University at 8 a.m.
