Women’s tennis team loses to Ohio Wesleyan, 9-0

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Olivet College women's tennis team fell to Ohio Wesleyan, 9-0, today in Hilton Head, S.C.

The closest match was at the No. 1 singles flight. Junior Caitlin LaValley (Battle Creek/Pennfield) won the first set 6-4 over Jordan Leslie. Leslie came back to win the second set, 7-5, and force a match tiebreaker for the third set. She also won that 10-6. At No. 2 singles, senior Kelsey Singer (Brooklyn/Columbia Central) lost 6-3, 6-4.

The Comets will close out their Spring Break trip with a noon match against Fairleigh Dickinson (N.J.) College.
