Bio
Serving two masters, he kept faith with both Olivet College and the
University of Michigan. As an Olivetian he played varsity football
and baseball, earning letters in both sports. In football he was
nominated to the second team MIAA in 1915, and was All-MIAA Center
in 1916. For over a quarter of a century following his enrollment
at Olivet he gave both of his time and substance that others might
train on his beloved campus. No Olivet Athletic History would be
complete without the mention of Donald “Pete”
Bacon.
