MARSHALL, Mich. – The Olivet College women's golf team lost by 14 strokes to Spring Arbor University in a dual match at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall.

- Playing a competitive round of golf for the first time in 11 months, the Comets posted a 364 team.
- The Cougars had a 350 team score.
- Caitlin Lysher and Jamie Erickson from Spring Arbor shared medalist honors with matching 82s.
- Senior Crystal Lettinga topped Olivet with an 84 (44-40). She was second in par 4 scoring at +5, and par 5 scoring at +3. Lettinga's round included eight pars, nine bogies and one triple bogey.
- In her first collegiate round of golf, freshman Rayna Honsowitz shot an 89 (44-45).
- Junior Logan McLane carded a 92 (45-47). She was one of three golfers to record a birdie, as she had a three on the 305-yard No. 8.
- Sophomore Aynslee Myer completed her round in 99 (55-44) strokes.
- The Comets return to The Medalist Friday when they host the Kyle Campbell Memorial Tournament. Action starts at 2 p.m.
