Megan (Rimmel) Hessbrook

Bio

You were a four-year letterwinner on the women’s golf team. You earned three All-MIAA First Team selections and were a part of the 2006, 2007 and 2008 MIAA Championship teams. You were a two-time honoree to the NGCA All-Great Lakes Region team, and in 2009-10, you earned NGCA All-American honors. You competed at the NCAA Division III Championships each of your four seasons, helping the Comets finish as high as ninth-place in 2007. You finished your Olivet career with an 83.5 stroke average over 96 rounds, and your best 18-hole score was a 74.

You excelled in the classroom, finishing with a 3.84 GPA and degree in sports and recreation management. You received the Donald A. Morris Award for being one of the top five graduating seniors. You were named to the 2010 CoSIDA Academic All-District IV Women’s At-Large team. You earned MIAA Academic Honor Roll and NGCA Scholar-Athlete Award honors four times each.

After graduating from Olivet, you moved back to your hometown in Ithaca, Michigan. You began your professional career as a new accounts representative at Firstbank. You have now served as a loan processor at GreenStone Farm Credit Services since 2014.
