Bio
You came to Olivet in 1970 and through your example helped shape
the wrestling tradition known to Olivet College today. Your
sensitivity to teammates, your personable way about you and your
willingless to go the extra mile earned you among other things the
place of co-captain of the team. Because of your leadership and
determination you were MIAA Wrestling Champion in your junior year.
You lettered all four years and were undefeated in MIAA dual meets
one year and made MIAA All-League slections. You wrestled on three
championship teams that had a record of 61 wins and 5 losses. Your
outstanding personal record at Olivet was 61 wins, 18 losses and 4
ties.
Along with your devotion for wrestling was your love for forensics. You qualified both your junior and senior years for nationals in oratory.
Today you serve your community well as a trainer of trainers in HIV education, and as a teacher of health classes to both regular and special education students in Phoenix, Arizona.
Because of your talents and devotion to Olivet College we welcome you on this day, October 3, 1992, into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame.
