Bio
Credited with “amazing alertness,” he played football
as an offensive center and defensive linebacker; he was team
captain 1959-60 and was named Most Valuable Player by his teammates
and All-MIAA defensive linebacker. He also starred in field events
and was “brillant scholastically.” After a career in
teaching and coaching in Marshall, he went to Cranbrook (Bloomfield
Hills), where he is now Dean of Students.
