Dean Trailways Male Co-Comets of the Week - September 27, 2021

The Dean Trailways Male Co-Comets of the Week are Alonzo Grigsby, of Taylor, and graduate of Cass Tech High School, and Joshua Rosendale, of Dimondale, and graduate of Holt High School. Grigsby played a pivotal role in helping the football team defeat Millsaps (Miss.) College, 44-27. He finished the game with four total tackles, including a quarterback sack. On the second-quarter sack, Grigsby forced the quarterback to fumble the ball and recovered it. In the third quarter, he intercepted a pass to stop a Major drive. Following both turnovers, the Comet offense scored a touchdown.

Rosendale scored both goals for the men’s soccer team in its 2-0 win over Defiance (Ohio) College. For the game, he took six total shots. Rosendale has now scored two goals in six different games during his Comet career.
