Dean Trailways Female Comets of the Week - February 27, 2023

The Dean Trailways Co-Female Comet of the Week is senior Gabby Jolliff, of Fowlerville, and graduate of Fowlerville High School. Jolliff captured the pole vault title at the 2023 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Indoor Track and Field Championships. Her winning mark of 10 feet, 10 inches tied the MIAA indoor championships record.

The Dean Trailways Co-Female Comet of the Week is sophomore Emily Norkowski, of Fife Lake, and graduate of Forest Area High School. Norkowski placed second in the triple jump (33 feet, 8-3/4 inches), fourth in the 60-meter hurdles (9.79) and seventh in the long jump (14 feet, 11-1/2 inches) at the MIAA Indoor Championships. She also ran a leg of the sixth-place 4x400-meter relay.
