Dean Trailways Female Comets of the Week - October 30, 2023

The Dean Trailways Female Comets of the Week are senior Olivia DuFore, of Fowlerville, and graduate of Fowlerville High School, and sophomore Sarah Grove, of Alma, and graduate of Alma High School.

DuFore slammed down a match-high 17 kills (5.67 per set), helping the women’s volleyball team sweep Saint Mary’s (Ind.) College in three sets. She finished the match with four errors on 44 attempts for a team-leading .295 attack percentage. In addition, DuFore had nine digs.

Grove posted the third-fastest 6K time in school history at the MIAA Cross Country Championship. Her time (23 minutes and 40.6 seconds) was a personal best by more than two minutes.
