Dean Trailways Comets of the Week - November 6, 2023

The Dean Trailways Female Comet of the Week is senior Olivia DuFore, of Fowlerville, and graduate of Fowlerville High School. DuFore totaled 27 kills and posted a .143 attack percentage in two matches for the women’s volleyball team last week. She tallied a single match, career-best 19 kills against Trine (Ind.) University. In addition, DuFore had three service aces and seven digs. 

The Dean Trailways Male Comet of the Week is freshman Djimo Kouyate, of Ann Arbor, and graduate of Community High School. Kouyate recorded a hat trick (three goals) in helping the men’s soccer team beat Trine (Ind.) University, 3-2, and earn a berth in the MIAA Tournament Championship game for only the third time in school history.
