Dean Trailways Comets of the Week - April 8, 2024

The Dean Trailways Male Comet of the Week is freshman DeVondre Chandler, of Bath, and graduate of Bath High School. Competing in his first collegiate outdoor meet, Chandler finished first and broke the school record in the high jump with a mark of 6 feet, 8-1/4 inches.

The Dean Trailways Co-Female Comet of the Week is the 4x100-meter relay team of junior London Eldridge, of Stanton, and graduate of Central Montcalm High School; senior Alex DeVault, of Algonac, and graduate of Algonac High School; freshman Morgan Jeffries, of Holt, and graduate of Haslett High School; and senior Lily Connelly, of Grant Township, and graduate of Croswell-Lexington High School. At the Comet Triangular, the quartet broke the school record with a winning time of 50.69 seconds.

The Dean Trailways Co-Female Comet of the Week is sophomore Ella LaMothe, of Grand Blanc, and graduate of Linden High School. LaMothe shot an 83 to receive medalist honors at the Monmouth Fighting Scot Spring Invitational. The performance aided Olivet to a first-place finish in the team standings.
