Comets of the Week - April 21, 2025

The Male Comet of the Week is freshman Yrral Campbell, of Grand Junction, and graduate of Bangor High School. Campbell finished fifth in the discus throw at the Otterbein (Ohio) University Twilight Meet. His performance (151 feet, 9 inches) ranks No. 2 all-time in UOlivet history and climbs him up to second on the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rankings this spring.

The Female Comet of the Week is senior Morgan Jeffries, of Holt, and graduate of Haslett High School. Jeffries ran the second-fastest times in UOlivet history in both the 100-meter dash (12.69 seconds) and 200-meter dash (25.84 seconds) at the Otterbein Twilight Meet. In addition, the times moved her up on the MIAA leaderboard to No. 7 in the 200 and No. 8 in the 100 this spring.
