Name: Sophia Spahr
Sport: Swimming
Hometown / High School: Belmont / Rockford
Accomplishments: Spahr won the 200-yard individual medley (2:33.50) and 100-yard freestyle (1:02.67) in a dual meet against Albion College. In the 100 freestyle, she outswam three Briton swimmers.

MALE COMET OF THE WEEK

Name: Mason Knight
Sport: Wrestling
Hometown / High School: Columbiaville / North Branch
Accomplishments: Wrestling at 285 pounds, Knight won his two matches at the NWCA National Dual Meet Championships. He defeated Jamal Neeway from Central College (Iowa), 15-3, and Justin Matson from University of Dubuque (Iowa), 8-3. The win over Matson helped the Comets defeat the Spartans, 22-19.
