Olivet College athletics spectator policy
The Olivet College athletic department has announced its spectator policy for the 2021-22 academic year. This policy is to keep all of our coaches and student-athletes safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Below is a summary of the policy.
Masking and Social Distancing
- All spectators are encouraged to follow social distancing rules while attending any athletic event, indoors or outdoors.
- At this time, all spectators, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask for indoor sports (volleyball, basketball, wrestling, swimming).
None of the athletic venues have a capacity limit at this time. Fans for both teams are allowed to attend. There will be an admission fee for all indoor sports and football. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Tickets can be bought on our online ticketing portal.
Effective January 12, 2022, the concession stand will be closed and fans are NOT be allowed to bring any food or drinks into the gym.
For any athletic contest not at Olivet College, please visit the host school's website for its spectator/fan policy. The MIAA Presidents' Council voted that each school can have its own policy.
This spectator policy is subject to change. Olivet is committed to doing what is best to protect the health and safety of the Olivet College community at this time. Stay tuned to www.olivetcomets.com for further updates.
