UOlivet’s LaMothe and McLeod selected to CSC Academic All-District® team
OLIVET, Mich. – Ella LaMothe and Darren McLeod from The University of Olivet have been selected to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large team.
LaMothe, an environmental science major, was a four-year letterwinner on the women's golf team. During the 2025-26 season, she played in 19 rounds and averaged a team-low 85.3 strokes per round. LaMothe received the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Sportsmanship award. She ended her UOlivet career with an 86.6 stroke average across 78 rounds. LaMothe's low round was a 78 on March 29, 2025, at the Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Club. Twice, she had 36-hole scores of 160 at the Hidden Creek Golf Club on April 3-4, 2026, and Ironwood Golf Club on September 13-14, 2025.
McLeod, a double major in finance and accounting, was a four-year letterwinner on the wrestling team. He finished his senior season with a 22-13 record, including seven pins and six technical falls. McLeod received the MIAA Senior Sportsman of the Year award. He ended his UOlivet career with 83 wins.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. The Division III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division III Academic All-America® programs.
