Six teams earn MIAA Team GPA award
Six Olivet College teams have earned the 2012-13 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Team GPA award. This award is presented to conference teams who achieve a 3.300 or better grade point average for the entire academic year.

OLIVET, Mich. -- Six Olivet College teams have earned the 2012-13 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Team GPA award. This award is presented to conference teams who achieve a 3.300 or better grade point average for the entire academic year.
The MIAA champion women’s golf team led the way for the Comets with a 3.522 GPA. Next was the women’s tennis team with a 3.507 GPA. The women’s basketball team had a 3.479 GPA, while the volleyball team recorded a 3.456 GPA. The men’s cross country team posted a 3.404 GPA, and the women’s soccer team had a 3.367 GPA.
The women’s golf team has received this honor for six straight years. The women’s tennis team has earned the honor four of the last five years.
