Olivet College athletic department begins partnership with Under Armour

OLIVET, Mich. -- The Olivet College athletic department and Under Armour, Inc. have entered in to a new multiyear partnership that designates Under Armour as the official outfitter of the school’s 23 athletic teams. Team Sports Inc. of Holland, Ohio, facilitated the agreement between Olivet and Under Armour.

Under Armour, the leading sports performance and innovation brand, will outfit Olivet athletic teams beginning in the 2014-15 season.  The comprehensive partnership also includes marketing and promotional opportunities. The Olivet football program has been wearing Under Armour for two years, and the coaches and student-athletes have been very happy with the uniforms.

“Creating this partnership is important to our coaches, and especially, our student-athletes, as we continue to enhance the student-athlete experience at Olivet,” said Olivet Director of Athletic Dave Sichterman. “Aligning with Under Armour, as it expands its footprint in intercollegiate athletics, also enhances our image as a program. Lastly, it is extremely important that all of our teams have a unified look on the field and court as they represent the Olivet College brand. I am excited we are an Under Armour program.”

Olivet joins Ferris State University as the only two NCAA schools in the state of Michigan to sign an exclusive contract with Under Armour.
