The Olivet College baseball team extended its winning streak to 12 games today with a 14-9 victory at St. Mary's College.

ORCHARD LAKE, Mich. -- The Olivet College baseball team extended its winning streak to 12 games today with a 14-9 victory at St. Mary's College.
Junior lefthander William Lawrence (Hamilton, Canada/Bishop Ryan) picked-up the win on the mound. He pitched five and one-third innings, allowing three earned runs and striking out three batters.
At the plate, senior Thomas Stowe (Middlefield, Ohio/Cardinal High School) had three base hits, including a double. He scored two runs and drove in a run. Junior Joe Richards (Galesburg Augusta High School) had a pair of hits and scored two runs. Junior Richard Strain (Livonia Churchill High School) and sophomore Matthew Hurley (Sault Ste. Marie, Canada/White Plains) each hit a home run, scored two runs, and drove in two runs.
Olivet will travel to play Manchester (Ind.) College in a non-league doubleheader on Tuesday, April 29 at 2 p.m.
