The Comets enter the game with an 8-1 overall record, including a 4-1 mark against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) opponents. With a win would, Olivet would share the 2015 MIAA Championship and strengthen its chance for an at-large bidto the NCAA Division III Championships.
The Comets are coming off a 56-42 win Nov. 7 at Concordia (Wis.) University. In the win, junior quarterback Braden Black threw for four touchdowns, while sophomore Jerome Washington rushed for four touchdowns.
Alma has a 5-4 overall record, with a 2-3 MIAA record. The Scots were defeated by Albion College, 66-28, Nov. 7 at Sprankle-Sprandel Stadium in Albion. Dylan Zaborowski completed 14-of-36 passes for 219 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. Daniel Hugan led Alma's receiving corps with eight catches for 125 yards and two scores. Nick Sullivan led the ground game with 17 carries for 78 yards.
