Dan Musielewicz was promoted to head coach at Olivet College in Jan. 2017 following five seasons as the offensive and recruiting coordinator.
Before coming to Olivet, Musielewicz served as the wide receivers coach at Trine (Ind.) University from 2006-11. During his time there, the Thunder won three consecutive Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) championships. Trine also made three straight trips to the NCAA Division III Playoffs, advancing as far as the second round in 2009 and 2010.
Prior to joining the Trine staff, Musielewicz was an assistant football and basketball coach at Tecumseh High School for one year.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, physical education and integrated science from Hillsdale College in 2005. While there, he played four years of football at receiver and one year of basketball for the Chargers.
Musielewicz earned a master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia (Calif.) University in May 2012.
He lives in Quincy with wife, Darcie, and daughter, Kendyl, and son, Davin.
