Pruitt named MIAA Player of the Week

In a 74-71 win on Dec. 2 at home against Madonna, Pruitt recorded his first collegiate double-double with a career-high 26 points and 11 rebounds. He made nine-of-15 shots from the floor, including five-of-eight three pointers. In a 105-48 win over Andrews University on Dec. 4, Pruitt led the Comets with 18 points. He also had rebounds and five steals in 19 minutes.
For the season, Pruitt leads the team in scoring (15.2 ppg) and rebounding (6.8 rpg). He is shooting 46.7 percent from the floor and is tied for the team lead with 11 three-pointers.
Pruitt and the Comets (2-4) will play two non-league games this week. On Wednesday, Dec. 10, Olivet travels to play Davenport University at 7 p.m. The Comets will host Concordia University on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 3 p.m.
