Pruitt named to the second-team All-MIAA Men’s Basketball Team

Olivet College sophomore forward De'Andre Pruitt (River Rouge High School) has been named to the 2003-04 second-team All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Men's Basketball squad.

Pruitt ranked eighth in the MIAA in scoring (14.3 ppg) and rebounding (6.2 rpg). He also ranked third in free throw percentage (81.2%), sixth in three-point field goals made (44) and seventh in blocked shots (23). In 12 MIAA games, Pruitt averaged 13.3 ppg and 6.3 rpg.

Seniors Matt Brawley (Niles High School) and Travis Schellhammer (Grand Ledge High School) and junior Ronnie Pearson (Holly High School) were selected to the coaches' honorable mention team.

The Comets ended their season with an 11-15 overall record and 5-7 MIAA mark.
