- "I am very happy with our effort in tonight's game," said Olivet head men's basketball coach Sam Hargraves. "Especially coming off a game where we did not have that same kind of energy. I've got to give credit to Trine. They played exceptionally well. We had a few plays not go our way and some crazy turnovers at the end of the game cost us. We have to bring the energy that we had tonight to every game, so it becomes a habit.
- "I can't say enough about the atmosphere at tonight's game. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us, and we hope you come out to the rest of our home games."
- Nick Bowman and Bryce Williams combined to score 48 of the 75 Trine points.
