Men’s Golf: Olivet ends fall schedule with fifth-place finish at Cleary Cougar Fall Classic

BRIGHTON, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's golf team closed out the fall portion of its 2023-24 schedule by placing fifth at the Cougar Fall Classic, hosted by Cleary University today at the Oak Pointe Country Club.

• UO Team: 5th of 9 (+39)
• Top UO Individual: Brady Applegate (+4), T3rd of 52

• The Comets finished with a 323 team score.
• Siena Heights University took first with a 303 team score.
• Andrew Skellenger from Alma College earned medalist honors with a 72.

• Freshman Brady Applegate tied for third in the player standings with a four-over par 75, including two birdies. The performance landed him on the all-tournament team.
• Junior Dylan Beck carded an 81.
• Junior Connor Jewell finished with an 82.
• Sophomore Mitchell Bair-Pollard shot an 85.
• Freshman Noah LaValley rounded out the Olivet scoring lineup with a 92.

• The Comets will pick-up their schedule in the spring at a to be determined tournament.
