UOlivet places eighth at Lourdes Spring Invitational

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's golf team finished eighth at the 2025 Lourdes (Ohio) University Spring Invitational, played this morning at the Legacy Golf Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Comets shot a 324 team score.
- Cornerstone University captured the team title with a 295.
- Miguel Gonzalez Sanchez from Indiana Tech and Landon Wanless from Cornerstone tied for medalist honors with even par 72s.
FOR THE COMETS
- Junior Mitchell Bair-Pollard led Olivet with a six over par 78 to share 17th-place in the player standings.
- Sophomore Noah LaValley carded an 80.
- Sophomore Brady Applegate shot an 82.
- Freshman Zachary Pier was two strokes behind with an 84.
- Freshman Bradon Ellis completed his round in 90 strokes.
- Sophomore Zachary Lull participated as an individual scorer and also had a 78.
- Other individual scorers were senior Dylan Beck (86) and freshman Luke Hulburt (87).
UP NEXT
- The Comets head to Richmond, Indiana, on Friday and Saturday for the Earlham (Ind.) College Spring Invitational. The two-day, 36-hole tournament is at Richmond Elks Golf Course. Friday's round starts at 10 a.m., followed by Saturday's round at 8 a.m.
