Men's swimming and diving team beats Oberlin
The Olivet College men’s swimming and diving team defeated Oberlin (Ohio) College, 127-103, this evening in a non-league dual meet at Carr Pool in Oberlin. The Fighting Comets (5-3) broke one school record, and recorded six first-place finishes.

Leading the way for Olivet was Andy Weiss (Fremont High School) and Levi Yockey (Phoenix, Ariz./North High School). Weiss captured both the one- and three-meter diving events with scores of 223.05 and 199.05, respectively. Yockey won the 50 and 100 freestyle with times of 22.94 and 49.45, respectively.
Nick Borowicz (Lennon/Corunna High School) was first in the 200 breaststroke (2:25.57). The 400 medley relay team of Jon Cox (Battle Creek/Lakeview High School), Ananta Fetters (Fennville/Holland High School), Paul Riha (East Grand Rapids High School) and Brad Waddell (Holland/West Ottawa High School) won in 3:51.94.
Juan Aguirre (Queretaro, Mexico), Fetters, Riha and Yockey broke the school record in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:21.65.
The Comets will remain in Ohio to swim against John Carroll University tomorrow (Jan. 24). Action begins from the University School in Shaker Heights at 1 p.m.
