The Olivet College men’s swimming and diving team has captured the 2006 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship, edging Hope College by 27 points, 559-532.
With three first-place finishes in tonight’s second day of action, the Olivet College men’s swimming and diving team has narrowed the gap between first- and second-place at the 2006 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships at Jenison High School. The Comets have 353 points and are only seven points behind Hope College.
After the first day of the 2006 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships, the Olivet College men’s swimming and diving team stands in second-place with 145 points. Hope College is first with 178 points. Calvin College is hosting the championships at Jenison High School.
The Olivet College men’s swimming and diving team defeated Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Kalamazoo College, 151-89, this afternoon at the Upton Center pool in Olivet.
