Takahashi earns CollegeSwimming.com National Collegiate Swimmer-of-the-Week Honor

Olivet College sophomore Koji Takahashi (Etobicoke, Ontario/Silver Thorn CI) has earned CollegeSwimming.com National Collegiate Swimmer-of-the-Week honors. He was one-of-six swimmers to be tabbed with the honor.

Takahashi was the only triple winner in the Comets' 133-110 win over Hope College Oct. 29. He swam the butterfly leg of the first-place 200-yard medley relay (1:40.13). Individually, he won the 200-yard freestyle (1:50.14) and 100-yard butterfly (:53.66). It is the first time in school history that Olivet beat the Flying Dutchmen.
