Olivet College men’s swim team earns CSCAA Scholar All-America honors
The Olivet College men’s swimming team has been named to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team for the spring semester.
OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College men's swimming team has been named to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team for the spring semester.
The Comets achieved a 3.04 grade point average (GPA). The award is presented to teams, who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher for the semester.
In addition, recent graduate Mike Harden (St. Johns) and Caitlin Lohr (Holland/Hamilton) were presented with Individual Scholar All-American awards. Harden, who graduated with a 3.96 GPA, is an All-American selection. Lohr, who finished with a 3.69 GPA, earned honorable mention All-American honors.
Swimmers earning Scholar All-American honors by recording a 3.50 or higher GPA and also qualifying for the national championships. Student-athletes are honorable mention honorees if they have a 3.50 or higher GPA and recorded an NCAA "B" cut time but did not compete at the national championships.
