OVERALL: Currently holds the fourth-best times in school history in the 50 free (21.09) and 100 free (46.71), and fifth-best time in the 100 breast (59.09) … swam a leg of school-record 200 (1:22.86), 400 (3:04.81) and 800 (6:56.56) free relays.
2012-13: Earned third varsity letter … scored points in his three individual events at the MIAA Championships … best finish was fourth in the 50 free … also won the consolation heat of the 100 free to place ninth overall and took 12th-place in the 200 free … had team’s top time in all three events at 21.09 in the 50, 46.90 in the 100 and 1:45.91 in the 200 … also swam the anchor leg of the 200, 400 and 800 ree, and 200 medley relays.
2011-12: Earned second varsity letter … swam on the 200, 400 and 800 free relays at the NCAA DIII National Championships … earned honorable mention All-American honors with a 15th-place finish in the 400 free relay … was part of the winning 200 and 400 free relays at the MIAA Championships … other finishes at the MIAA Championships were fourth in the 50 free, and ninth in the 100 free and 400 IM.
2010-11: Earned first varsity letter … placed seventh in the 200 IM, 11th in the 200 IM and 13th in the 100 free at the MIAA Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a member of the swimming and diving team at DeWitt High School and earned a varsity letter each year … Also participated in track and field for one season and earned a varsity letter … Lansing State Journal Swimmer of the Year in 2010 … earned All-State honors and was named team’s MVP in 2010 for swimming.
PERSONAL: Major – criminal justice … birthday – May 10 … son of Eric and Catherine Aldrich … has an older sister, Libby, and twin brother, Nick, who is also a member of the Comet swimming and diving team.
