Men’s tennis team loses to Hope in MIAA-opener

HOLLAND, Mich. – The Olivet College men's tennis team lost to Hope College, 9-0, in its Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) opener today inside the DeWitt Tennis Center in Holland.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Flying Dutchmen won all three pro-sets in doubles play and won all six singles matches in straight sets.

FOR THE COMETS            

• Sophomore Zachary Croze and freshman Drew Gilmer lost a close 8-6 pro-set at the No. 1 doubles position.
• Freshman Donald Doyle had the most success in singles play, losing 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 4 slot.
