Olivet defeated by Alma

ALMA, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's tennis team fell to Alma College, 7-0, this afternoon in a non-conference match at the Superior Street Tennis Complex.

THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Scots won two-of-three doubles flights to pick-up the first team point. Alma then won each of the six singles flights to complete the 7-0 sweep.

FOR THE COMETS

• In doubles, the No. 3 duo of junior Ryan Ganger and freshman Mason Munsell did not lose any games in a 6-0 win over Daniel Hickey and John Laxton.
• The most exciting match of the day came at No. 5 singles. Freshman Chad Romyak won the first set 6-4 before Laxton won the second set 7-5 and match tiebreaker 13-11.
