ALBION, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's tennis team was on the losing end of a 5-2 final to Albion College in a non-conference match this afternoon inside the Ungrodt Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Britons won 2-of-3 doubles flights to pick-up the first team point.
- Albion then 4-of-6 singles flights to earn the 5-2 victory.
FOR THE COMETS
- At No. 2 doubles, the team sophomores Christian Beyers and Chad Romyak posted a 6-3 win.
- Sophomore Alex Jonas claimed a come-from-behind win at No. 2 singles. After losing the first set, 6-1, he bounced back to win the second set, 6-4. Jonas then won the match tiebreaker, 10-5.
- Beyers won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 4 singles.
UP NEXT
- The Comets are off until Sunday, March 9, when they play two matches at Blue Mountain (Miss.) Christian University. Olivet plays the University of Ozarks (Ark.) at 10 a.m., followed by a match against the host Toppers at 2 p.m.
