ANGOLA, Ind. – Junior Owen Fremeau captured the shot put title to help The University of Olivet men's indoor track and field teams finish in fifth place at the 2026 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships, hosted by Trine University (Ind.)
Fremeau delivered another MIAA championships record in the shot put with a heave of 59 feet, 1/4 inches. The mark is also a UOlivet record as well as climbs him to fourth on the NCAA Division III Performance List. Sophomore Alexander Brown placed second in the pole vault (14 feet, 7-1/2 inches). Sophomore Mason Korn cleared the pole vault bar at 13 feet, 3-3/4 inches for the fifth-best mark in UOlivet history. Junior Austin Cole finished sixth in the shot put (45 feet, 8-1/2 inches).
