UOlivet swept at North Park

CHICAGO, Ill. – The University of Olivet men's volleyball team was swept by North Park (Ill.) University in three sets today at the Carlson Gymnasium.

THE BASICS

• Final Score: North Park defeated Olivet 25-14, 25-19, 25-23
• Location: Carlson Gymnasium, Illinois
• Records: Olivet 2-9 overall, North Park 4-5 overall

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Vikings never trailed in both the first and second sets.
• In the third set, North Park jumped out to a six-point lead, 13-7. The Comets trimmed their deficit down to two points, 19-17. The Vikings got to set point at 24-20. Olivet scored three straight points on a kill, attack error and service error. After a time out, North Park used a kill to win the set and match.

FOR THE COMETS

• Freshman Silas Martin led the team with eight kills, followed by sophomore Aiden Chamblee with six.
• Sophomore Andy Hok recorded a team-best 19 set assists.
• Junior Matthew Tollar collected a team-high eight digs.

• The Comets stay in Chicago tonight to play at Rockford (Ill.) University tomorrow afternoon, starting at 3 p.m. EST.
