Men’s cross country team competes at Defiance Duals
Backed by freshman Greg Lutzke’s fourth-place finish, the Olivet College men’s cross country team participated today in the 2011 Defiance (Ohio) College Duals.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Backed by freshman Greg Lutzke's (Williamston) fourth-place finish, the Olivet College men's cross country team participated today in the 2011 Defiance (Ohio) College Duals.
Lutzke completed the 8K race in just less than 30 minutes at 29:54. Freshman Jalen Weaver (Albion) was right behind him in sixth-place in 30:17. Senior Tom Sobleskey (Olivet) placed 11th in 32:52, followed by junior Brock Hubbard (Battle Creek/Harper Creek) in 14th in 33:35.
The Comets are now off until Saturday, Sept. 24, when they run at the 2011 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree. The meet at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola gets started at 10:30 a.m.
