HUDSONVILLE, Mich. – A school-record 177 student-athletes from The University of Olivet have been named to the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll in 2022-23.
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams have landed a spot on the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team for the 2022 fall semester. Junior Chris Davis has been named a USTFCCCA All-Academic athlete.
HOLLAND, Mich. – Led by junior Chris Davis’ school-record 8K time, the Olivet College men’s cross country team finished 27th at the 2022 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Meet. Hope College hosted the 8K race at the Three Fires Golf Club.
SHEPHERD, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s cross country team finished fifth at the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship, hosted by Alma College.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams finished first at the Concordia University-Ann Arbor Cardinal Invitational.
EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s cross country team hosted some of the nation’s best teams for the 2022 Pre-National Meet today at the Forest Akers East Golf Course. The Comets finished 31st of 36 schools.
OLIVET, Mich. – Olivet College along with the Greater Lansing Sports Authority (GLSA) will host the 2022 Pre-National Cross Country Meet Saturday, October 1 at the Forest Akers East Golf Course in East Lansing. Schools from across the country will descend on East Lansing to preview the course for the 2022 NCAA Division III National Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships November 19. Olivet and GLSA are also co-hosting the national championships.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s cross country team finished 10th at the 2022 Grand Rapids Community College/Raider Invitational, held at Gainey Sports Complex.
CHARLOTTE, Mich. – Led by senior Chase Mendham’s third-place finish, the Olivet College men’s cross country team kicked-off its 2021 campaign by welcoming six other schools to the Broadway Acres Golf Course in nearby Charlotte, for an unscored meet. Also participating in the meet were three fellow NCAA members – Adrian College, Albion College and Hillsdale College, as well three members of the National Junior College Athletic Association – Jackson College, Lake Michigan College and Lansing Community College (LCC).
