Big Wins, Bright Futures: The University of Olivet’s Newest Clay Target Athletes Shine at the National Skeet Shooting Association Junior World Skeet Championship

The University of Olivet Clay Target Team is proud to welcome two of the nation's top youth shooters to our roster this fall: Olivia Krauss and Tyler Wildman. Before even stepping foot on campus as official student-athletes, they've already made a name for themselves on the national stage— bringing home impressive hardware from the 2025 NSSA Junior World Skeet Championship held in Waco, Texas this year.
Olivia Krauss: Consistent. Focused. Fierce.
A rising star in the sport, Olivia Krauss proved she's one to watch with a standout performance. Her precision and poise earned her:
- 2nd Place – 2-Man Team Doubles (with Tyler Wildman)
- 3rd Place – 12ga Jr. World Collegiate Ladies
- 2nd Place – 2-Man Team 12-Gauge (with Tyler Wildman)
- 2nd Place – 20ga Jr. World Collegiate Ladies Runner-Up
- 1st Place – 2-Man Team 20ga Champion (with Tyler Wildman)
- 1st Place – SCTP High Collegiate Ladies Award
- 3rd Place – 28ga Jr. World Collegiate Ladies
- 1st Place – 2-Man Team 28ga Champion (with Tyler Wildman)
- 3rd Place – .410 Jr. World Collegiate Ladies
- 2nd Place – 2-Man Team .410 (with Tyler Wildman)
- 3rd Place – Jr. World Collegiate Ladies HOA (High Over All)
- 1st Place – 2-Man Team HOA Champion (with Tyler Wildman)
Olivia's consistency across gauges and her collaborative strength in team events reflect not only her experience but her leadership and team-first mentality—qualities that will elevate The University of Olivet squad this season.
Tyler Wildman: Determined and Dominant
Already a standout in the clay target community, Tyler Wildman showed why he's one of the top collegiate shooters to watch. Tyler brought home:
- 1st Place - Collegiate Champion of Champions
- 1st Place – Jr. World Collegiate Doubles Champion
- 2nd Place – 2-Man Team Doubles (with Olivia Krauss)
- 3rd Place – 12ga Jr. World Collegiate (shoot-off with 100's)
- 2nd Place – 2-Man Team 12-Gauge (with Olivia Krauss)
- 2nd Place – 20ga Jr. World Collegiate Runner-Up (shoot-off )
- 1st Place – 2-Man Team 20ga Champion (with Olivia Krauss)
- 1st Place – 28ga Jr. World Collegiate Champion
- 1st Place – 2-Man Team 28ga Champion (with Olivia Krauss)
- 2nd Place – 2-Man Team .410 (with Olivia Krauss)
- 1st Place – 2-Man Team HOA Champion (with Olivia Krauss)
Tyler's ability to perform at a high level both individually and in partnership makes him a tremendous addition to the team. His focus and drive are exactly what it takes to lead on the collegiate skeet circuit.
