Olivet College’s Lang selected to D3hoops.com All-Great Lakes Region First Team

OLIVET, Mich. – Olivet College senior center Stefanie Lang (Valparaiso, Ind.) has earned 2014-15 D3hoops.com All-Great Lakes Region First Team honors. The other four members of the first team are guards Breanna Verkaik from Calvin College, Savannah Trees from DePauw (Ind.) University and Sydney Moss from Thomas More (Ky.) College, and forward Christina Marquette from Oberlin (Ohio) College.

Lang, a two-time first-team All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) and 2014-15 preseason D3hoops.com All-America selection, averaged 17.8 points and 12.4 rebound per game in leading Olivet to a 14-12 overall record. She posted 20 double-doubles and shot 46.7 percent from the floor, while blocking a single-season record 49 shots. Lang scored 20 or more points in 10 games, scoring a single-game high 33 points against Adrian College. Her single-game rebounding high was 20 against Kalamazoo College.
