Women's golf team finishes in second-place at the Aquinas Invitational
The Olivet College women's golf team finished in second-place (out of seven teams) today at the Aquinas College Classic at the Scott Lake Country Club in Comstock Park.
The Olivet College women's golf team finished in second-place (out of seven teams) today at the Aquinas College Classic at the Scott Lake Country Club in Comstock Park.
The Lady Comets carded a team score of 387 strokes to finish behind Hope College, who carded a 366.
Leading the way for Olivet were both freshman Kristy Latimer (Battle Creek/Harper Creek High School) and sophomore Katie Edick (Charlotte High School) with a 96. Following Edick and Latimer were freshman Lindsay Struble (Battle Creek/Harper Creek High School) with a 97, sophomore Wendy Mickelwait (Middleville/ Thornapple Kellogg High School) with a 98 and freshman Amanda London (Marshall High School) with a 105. Freshman Stephanie Nicolai (Shelbyville/Wayland Union High School) played as an indidividual and shot a 95.
Olivet is next in action on Saturday, Sept. 27, when it participates in the third Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association jamboree at the Lenawee Country Club in Adrian.
