Women's golf team finishes in fourth-place at Tri-State Invitational
The women’s golf team opened its 2005 spring schedule with a fourth-place finish today at the Tri-State (Ind.) University Invitational. The invitational was played at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.

The Lady Comets tallied a team-score of 348 strokes. Grand Valley State University won the team title with a 315. Leading the way Olivet was freshman Amanda Sanders (Concord), who had an 84. Freshman Jennifer Lambarth (Saline) and junior Katie Edick (Charlotte) also shot in the 80s with an 86 and 87, respectively.
Sophomore Kristy Latimer (Battle Creek/Harper Creek) was next with a 91. Freshman Stephanie Pott (Kalamazoo Mattawan) shot a 94 and sophomore Amanda London (Marshall) had a 103.
Olivet will next play Wednesday, April 13, when it participates in a tournament being co-hosted by Bethel (Ind.) and Saint Mary’s (Ind.) Colleges at the Knollwood Country Club in Granger, Indiana.
