Olivet places 10th at Highland Championship

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The University of Olivet men's golf team placed 10th at the Highland Championship, hosted by Augustana (Ill.) College and played at the Highland Springs Municipal Golf Course.

• The Comets posted a two-round score of 710 strokes.
• The host Vikings won the team title with a two-day score of xxx strokes.
• Kelsey O'Connor from Augustana earned individual medalist honors with a 148, including a one-under par 71 in the first round.

• Junior Ella LaMothe recorded back-to-back 82s for a two-round total of 164 strokes. She had three birdies, two in the first round and one in the second round.
• Senior Rylee Honsowitz carded a 176 (90-86) two-day score.
• Freshman Ryleigh Reese totaled 179 strokes (88-91).
• Freshman Madison Cowhy finished at 191 (97-94).
• Junior Sedona Bonter tallied a 198 (103-95).
• Freshman Emily Clark was an individual scorer and shot a 183 (91-92).
