GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Olivet College women's lacrosse team dropped a 17-8 decision to Aquinas College this afternoon in Grand Rapids.
Sophomore Taylor Guarnaccia (East Lansing/Haslett), freshman Kaylee Liddle (Clarkston) and sophomore Geri Merrell (Battle Creek/Lakeview) each scored two goals. Freshman Ana Gomez (Rochester Hills/Notre Dame Prep) and sophomore Brittany Hayes (Battle Creek/Lakeview) tallied one goal apiece. Sophomore Sarah Shaw (Grand Haven) played all 60 minutes in goal and collected 11 saves.
The Comets will host Alma College for a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association game tomorrow night. Game time at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet is 7 p.m.
